The Client:
Monotype Corporation
Monotype is the largest type house in the world that specialises in digital typesetting and typeface design for consumer and industrial electronic displays. Monotype licenses its type products via several websites, including Monotype.com and MyFonts.com.
The Role:
Digital Designer
The Challenge:
For many of the projects that I worked on, the creative team was dispersed throughout the United States and Europe. As digital designer, I created several online advertising campaigns that included static and animated web banners. The Monotype Spark campaign championed low-memory, scalable type solutions for small screens, such as medical devices and watches. Another campaign focused on a typefaces created for automotive dashboard displays. Lastly, I designed and produced the outdoor glass signage for the Monotype headquarters located in Woburn, Massachusetts. The glass displays used renderings of every character in the Noto fonts, nearly 60,000 characters from 93 scripts.
